An addition is to be added to Kitagata Housing through the means of an "inserted" pod.  This new structure will question the traditional nature of a dwelling, it will have no rooms or internal walls, just a vast open space which may cater for a variety of functions.  

 

The devices for living lie within a thick wall and floor, at night, bedrooms appear from nowhere and in the morning they turn into the kitchen, living space and even bathroom.  All is hidden, and can be pulled out or slotted back into place once their purpose has been served.
